About the Coffee
Nestled in the renowned Chelbesa kebele of Yirgacheffe, this coffee flourishes beneath a lush, semi-forested canopy. The Chelbesa wet mill, established in 2019, is on a mission to source the freshest coffee cherries from hundreds of dedicated smallholders. In fact, over 760 producers have contributed to crafting this Grade 2 washed coffee.
The secret behind its exceptional quality lies in the ceramic fermentation tanks at the Chelbesa mill, which enhance the clarity of the coffees and stimulate the fermentation process with optimal heat retention.
